IBPS PO Educational Qualification 

Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CRP exam is as basic as a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidates must have a valid mark sheet / Degree Certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.

Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to give the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.

Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.

IBPS PO Age Limit

Every candidate applying for the IBPS PO exam must be not less than 20 years and not more than 30 years at the time of registration. In addition, age relaxation application is available for class specific candidates as per board rules:

IBPS PO Nationality

A candidate must be one of the following to apply for the IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination:

1. Citizen of India
2. The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Exiles from Tibet who entered India before January 1, 1962, with the aim of staying there permanently.
4. PIOs are people of Indian origin who have moved to India permanently from countries like Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam or East African ones like Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi.

Candidates in categories 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility granted in their favour by the Government of India.

IBPS PO 2024 Selection Process

Candidates interested in the IBPS PO position should familiarize themselves with the notification details and understand the complete selection process to secure their final selection as an IBPS PO. The selection process for IBPS PO comprises three phases:

1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2024

The preliminary examination pattern for IBPS PO 2024 consists of 100 questions with a maximum score of 100 marks. The questions will be distributed among three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates will have 1 hour to complete the paper.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPO PO Main Exam is conducted via online mode, it has 5 (4+1) sections carrying marks 200+25 and duration of exam is 180+30 minutes. IBPS conducts a descriptive paper for selection of candidates for PO vacancies during its IBPS PO Mains Exam. The parts must be completed in the same order and in the same time that was allocated during the exam. Candidate must qualify both the preliminary and the main exam to get selected for the Interview round.
